Can Microsoft Dynamics 365 support South Africa e-Invoicing?

Dynamics 365 is not one invoice model. Business Central exposes sales invoices and sales credit memos through separate API resources, while Finance deployments use different interfaces and posting flows. First identify the product and legal entity that issues the invoice; then test a correction and its source reference. A future South African connector cannot be selected from the Dynamics 365 name alone.

The Business Central API documents invoiceId and invoiceNumber on a sales credit memo. Use a sample credit against a posted invoice to confirm that the integration can keep both references and the tax amounts. Do not apply this API assumption to Dynamics 365 Finance without checking that application's own interface.
